This 4-star hotel was recently re-opened in December 2008, after an extensive refunishment. It offers the facilities you would expect from a hotel of this class, such as large flats-screen TVs in all rooms, free in-room wi-fi internet access, direct dialing telephone, and other standard facilities such as minibars, tea/coffee making facilities, air-conditioning etc.

All rooms, except the standard rooms, have large, modern en-suite bathrooms with separate bath and shower. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and stylishly decorated.

The hotel has a beautiful creole-style reception with lounge and pool bar. These and the swimming pool are set in a beautiful, tranquil, tropical garden with collections of fabulous orchids, and extensive ponds of Koi carp.

Amongst Le Duc’s greatest assets are its two restaurants ‘ Le Dauphin’ and ‘Café des Arts’, the latter widely praised as the best restaurant on Praslin, if not in Seychelles.
