Mirihi Island Resort

The Mirihi Island Resort is named after the small exquisite yellow flowers found around this beautiful island. Located on a secluded tropical island in the South Ari Atoll, approximately 85 kilometres south of the capital Male, it is a picturesque and breathtaking 30 minute seaplane ride from Male.

This emerald gem is just 350 meters long and 50 meters wide with a sparkling palm-fringed beach of fine white sand. Walk barefoot if you choose, this is as close to nature as you can get. Blessed with white talc beaches, turquoise blue waters and one of the most amazing house-reefs, it is truly a little piece of paradise on earth.

Accommodation

Beach Villas

The 6 tastefully appointed Beach Villas (53 sqm) are spread over the island. All Villas feature designer furnishing, polished wooden floors, king size or twin beds, air conditioning, ceiling fan, sitting area with CD music system and fully stocked minibar, coffee and espresso maker, international direct-dial telephone and personal safe. The Beach Villas offer an oversized open-air bathroom with a luxurious fresh water shower as well as direct access to the beach.

Water Villas

The 30 tastefully appointed Water Villas (53 sqm) are built on stilts over the blue lagoon. All Villas feature designer furnishing, polished wooden floors, king size or twin beds, air conditioning, ceiling fan, sitting area with CD music system and fully stocked minibar, Coffee and Espresso maker, international direct-dial telephone and personal safe. The Water Villas will spoil you with a spacious, luxurious en-suite bathroom, overlooking the ocean through two large sliding glass doors. Step outside on the private deck and relax, as each balcony has been designed to guarantee complete privacy. Each Water Villa also offers steps from the balcony for direct accesses to the Ocean, as well as a fresh water shower at the staircase.

From buffets and world-class a la carte restaurant to intimate private dining anywhere on the island, Mirihi offers a wide variety of superb cuisine to satisfy every appetite and occasion.

Spa

If you look for relaxation and pampering, visit the Duniye Spa. You may choose from a large variety of treatments, ranging from a relaxing Swedish massage, traditional Thai treatments to various facials.

Sports & Recreation Facilities

Although the main reason for going to Mirihi is undoubtedly to kick off your shoes and do absolutely nothing but relax and revel in natures delights, there are a host of other activities on offer for you to try.

Gym. A fully equipped, state-of-the-art fitness center is available on a complimentary basis for those who wish to keep in shape and work off those extra pounds collected in the restaurants...

Watersports. If you feel like being more active, take one of the ocean kayaks and paddle around the island. On windy days, they have a complete range of windsurf gear available, suiting everyone from beginner to expert. The use of the water sports equipment is available complimentary to all guests.

Scuba Diving

Diving is a priority for many guests and they are able to cater to all levels of divers, from first timers wishing to learn the basics to the experienced diver wanting to fine-tune his techniques.

Ocean Pro operates the dive base on Mirihi and with over 40 dive sites and a multilingual team, every guest is assured a most personal service.

With an excellent house reef Mirihi appeals to both those who enjoy snorkeling to avid divers looking to relax in luxury.
