Bandos Island Resort
The lush island of Bandos is located in the beautiful azure waters of North Male Atoll, a mere 20 minutes by speedboat from the capital Male. A lively and attractive resort, it offers an excellent standard of accommodation and food.

Accommodation
All 225 rooms have ceiling fan, air-conditioning, mini-bar and International Direct-Dial telephone, television, safe, tea/coffee making facilities and hair dryer. Most rooms are sea-facing.
• Standard rooms have a shower and a veranda.
• Deluxe rooms are larger and additionally have a bath, and a separate living room.
• Garden Villas are set in the gardens close to the large swimming pool and have shower and veranda.
• Beach Villas are detached on two levels with a sitting area on the ground floor and the bedroom on the first floor, no ceiling fan. There is a thatched roofed Jacuzzi pool in the garden.
Food & Drink
The Island's Harbour fine dining restaurant, is open in the evenings and serves a selection of international dishes. Sea Breeze Cafe (Coffee Shop) is an a la carte restaurant open 24 hours and offers a wide selection of dishes from snacks to full meals. Gallery restaurant (main buffet restaurant) is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and serves buffets for all three meals and this is where the pre-booked meals are served. The property has 3 bars.
Family Holidays
For families traveling with young children the island offers a Child Care Centre and Kids Club, allowing you to enjoy your holiday, comfortable in the knowledge that your children are in the capable care of professional child minders and baby sitters if you wish to use the facilities. The club is free of charge and the staff of the Kids Club provide a baby-sitting services free of charge between 09:00hrs and 17:00hrs, although a small charge is levied after 17:00hrs. The Kids Club is well equipped with a nursery full of toys and a large playground outside for the children to enjoy.
Sports & Recreation Facilities
The Paradise Club offers guests a choice of amenities including tennis, squash, badminton, billiards, gym, sauna, steam bath, board games, 2 swimming pools and childcare facilities.
Water sports at the resort include windsurfing, snorkeling, catamaran sailing and deep sea fishing. The resort has two shops and a Spa for those in search of some pampering.
The resort also offers a variety of local excursions and entertainment such as discos, theme nights and live bands in the main bar.
Scuba Diving
Dive Bandos have an excellent reputation, their facilities including a spacious reception with library, 2 air-conditioned class rooms, toilets & showers and a medical centre with a new 6 person decompression chamber
Offering 2 boat dives a day, a single tank in the morning and the second trip after lunch, they have access to over 40 sites all within 45 minute boat ride from the resort. They also regularly organise full day boat excursions.
Bandos House Reef is easily accessed from the shore and is good for both divers & snokellers who love the photo opportunities of the reef. You will regularly see black & white tipped reef sharks, turtles and schools of snapper. House Reef access is unlimited to experienced qualified divers 24 hours a day.
