Accommodation
The 45 villas spread across the circumference of the coral island, open directly onto the beach to breathtaking views of shimmering turquoise ocean. All villas are furnished with thatched roofs, private gardens and a minimalist-influenced interior in vivid lime green, tangerine and yellow; where 20 of the villas (Deluxe Beachfront) are equipped with open-air jet pools.

Food & Drink
The Velaavani Bar. Chill out at this waterfront bar by the lagoon and house reef where exotic, refreshing cocktails and scrumptious snacks are served up all day long.
The Riveli (which means 'beam of light' in Maldivian), is where you will find a choice of Asian, Mediterranean and Maldivian flavours. Serving wonderful buffets and set menus you will enjoy the fine dining whilst enjoying the breathtaking view.
Diving
Whilst staying at Ansana you will be able to explore one of the finest, most vibrant house reefs of the Maldives with it’s walls & caves home to a wealth of marine life. You’ll be delighted to know that one of the most interesting wrecks in the Maldives is to be found on their house reef – lying in 25 Metres of beautifully clear water. Easily accessible for both snorkeler & divers with 6 entry points the reef wraps around the island and drops off gradually from the beach to a depth of 30 metres. The resorts location allows for easy access with boat dives to some of North Male atolls best reefs. The islands boat dives regularly visit more than 40 sites accommodating novice through to advanced.
Winner of the first Maldivian Environment Preservation Award in 1996 as well as the “President of the Maldives Green Resort Award” in 2002, Angsana Maldives Ihuru is home to more than a few outstanding marine biology research initiatives. In connection with two international Marine Biologists, the island management submerged a steel structure in a shape of a barnacle ideal for fertilized coral to settle upon. The experiment hopes to accelerate the pace of coral growth thus assisting the rejuvenation of the reef and the islands fantastic marine life.
