Angaga Island Resort
Densely vegetated with coconut palms, the island of Angaga is a classic resort with white powdery sand beaches and a wonderful crystal clear lagoon. The resort has a spectacular house reef which is good for both snorkeling and diving, and starts just 7 metres from the beach.

Located in the South Ari Atoll, the island is a 25-minute seaplane journey from Male airport.
Accommodation
The resort has 50 superior thatched Beach bungalows and 20 newly built Water Villas.
• Superior Beach Bungalows (45 sqm): Air-conditioned, bath room amenities (bathrobe, shampoo, conditioner), hair dryer, hot & cold fresh water, luxury natural bamboo furniture, local type of swing on veranda, refrigerator, satellite TV, semi open bath room, sun lounger, tea / coffee making facilities, telephone.
• Water Villas (56 sqm): completed in march 2004: Air-conditioned, back door to private sun deck, bath room amenities (bathrobe, shampoo, conditioner), direct access to lagoon, glass bottom table, hair dryer, hot & cold fresh water, luxury natural bamboo furniture, refrigerator, modern luxury bath room with bath tub, satellite TV, sun lounger, tea / coffee making facilities, telephone.
Food & Drink
The hotels restaurant serves buffet style breakfast, lunch and dinner and also has a coffee shop which is open from 08:30 to 10:00pm. The main bar serves a wide range of drinks and cocktails.
Sports & Recreation
Flood lit tennis & badminton courts, a newly built Spa, a souvenir shop and gymnasium. The island also offers guest’s a selection of water sports including windsurfing, catamaran sailing, canoeing, snorkeling and diving.
Scuba Diving
The house reef at Angaga is interesting for both divers & snorkelers. It has 4 entry points allowing for easy access to the reef, starting just 8 metres from the shore. Home to lots of soft coral and plentiful marine life, the house reef is available for unlimited shore diving to experienced certified divers. The islands location gives access by boat to some of the best dive sites on both the western & eastern sides of the Ari Atoll. The dive centre, who are extremely experienced in the Maldives offer, a full range of services and courses.
