Whirlwind Live-aboard. Red Sea liveaboard dive boat.




		The 'Whirlwind' is the newest addition to the Tornado Marine fleet of liveaboard boats, which includes highly rated boats such as the Hurricane, Typhoon and Cyclone. Whirlwind was launched in May 2006, and has quickly established itself as one of the premier red sea liveaboards for the Northern Red Sea and the Brothers. Whirlwind is 36 metres in length with a beam of 8 metres width, and takes a maximum of 20 guests. She is very spacious, generously equipped and furnished to an extremely high standard. She truly is a world class liveaboard!

Cabins: The 10 twin cabins are spacious and beautifully finished. They all have en-suite bathrooms, wardrobe, bedside cupboard, shelves and safety deposit boxes and boast air conditioning with individual controls. Music from the saloon area can be piped into each cabin and this is controlled from the bedside.

Saloons & Dining Room: The Whirlwind has a separate dining area and saloon/bar area, so that guests have plenty of space to enjoy their meals and comfortable surroundings for relaxing in the evening. Whirlwind's stylish restaurant is situated on the main deck where hotel style cuisine is served 3 times a day. The polished dining tables and chairs add to the illusion of being in a luxury hotel. The upper saloon and bar offers plenty of seating to relax during the evening. The stereo, CD/DVD and large plasma screen surround sound TV adds a touch of class - perfect for watching movies and for viewing the day's underwater video and photography footage.

Sun Decks: The teak decking throughout the boat adds a sense of luxury. The main sun deck is decked out with wicker furniture. In front of the bridge is a small, oval sun area which is perfect for enjoying the sun and viewing the surrounding Red Sea. The upper sun deck provides shaded and sunbathing area. Dive Deck: The incredibly spacious teak dive deck features individual dive stations with comfortable seating section and dive kit storage. All tanks are filled in situ so once your equipment is set up all you have to do is dive! Open cupboard spaces are provided allowing you to leave dry towels for when you return from your dive. The large dive platform features fresh water tanks and rinse showers. Divers are ferried to the drop zone in two 5.2m RIBs.
