Royal Evolution boat Red Sea

Royal Evolution boat side view

The ROYAL EVOLUTION is one of the best live-aboard dive boats operating in the Red Sea. She is brought to you by the same company that launched the M/Y Royal Emperor ten years ago, which in its time, marked the beginning of a new era of Red Sea dive yachts, built by divers for divers. Today the ROYAL EVOLUTION takes the lead once again.

The Royal Evolution entered service in early 2006, and was built with no compromise in safety, facilities and comfort. Maximum care has been taken to reduce noise and vibration on board thanks to the application of the most advanced technology and materials. She is a steel hulled vessel, 39m in length and taking a maximum of 24 guests in double and twin share cabins, all with en-suite bathrooms. The boat is fully air-conditioned.

Saloon, Dining and Public areas: The Saloon and Dining areas are comfortably furnished and provide satellite television with plasma screen, sound system and DVD library. The satellite navigation system allows guests to track the progress of the voyage. After a day's diving and an evening of wining and dining, there are times when an armchair beckons. Comfortable lounge areas are amply provided in the air conditioned interior. The spacious sundeck is split over two levels, so there is plenty of places for sitting or lounging outside too. The teak deck furniture and large Jacuzzi add a touch of luxury.

Cabins: Below decks the twin cabins are spacious with plenty of storage and feature work station/dressing table, satellite TV and CD player, safety deposit box and fridge. The two main deck double cabins have similar features and all cabins have en-suite bathroom with toilet and show, and full air conditioning with individual controls.

Food & Dining: Fine cuisine can be expected from the chef of Royal Evolution. Clients with particular meal requests can be catered for as well. Royal Evolution provides clients with a spacious dining area - the ideal place for hearty meals, relaxed conversation and the beginnings of new friendships.

Diving: Scuba divers have good reason to be fussy about their gear and technical facilities on board. Safety is always on their mind as well as meticulous attention to detail. Nothing has been spared when it comes to the dive deck. There are three Ribs, two of them are 5.5metres equipped with 55hp Yamaha outboards and one is 4.2m equipped with 25hp Yamaha outboard. Three Divemix compressors with a delivery of 25ltr/min, each connected to an extra separate air filter, plus one Divemix Nitrox compressor membrane with delivery of 500ltr/min. provide fast and efficient fills. The booster pump with the filling panel for tech fills up to 200Bar supplies gas for the full range of technical courses & services available onboard.

The dive deck is equipped with state of the art dive equipment and has two showers. Underwater photography is the favoured trophy-hunting of today's divers and Royal Evolution gives them first class equipment to pursue this rewarding pastime. A specialist photographic viewing table and video sets are a popular facility during cruises.

Safety on board: Royal Evolution was built according to SOLAS regulations and under supervision of the international surveyor "Bureau Veritas" as passenger ship for coastal operation area (600 Nautical miles from refugee), with a full compliment of safety equipment. As well as the standard safety equipment onboard, monthly safety drills are conducted for the crew. These drills are intended for our crews to maintain peak performance skills for scenarios such as Man Overboard, Fire At Sea, Abandon Ship, Unconscious Diver, Lost Diver Searches and more. The vessel is equipped with Single Side Band (SSB) Radios, Global Positioning Systems (GPS), Emergency Position Indicating Take out space, Radio Beacon (EPIRB), VHF Radio, Satellite and Cellular Phones.
