The Hyatt is a luxury Red Sea live-aboard dive boat, built in October 2005. She was 'refreshed' in dry-dock during January 2007, during which time an outside bar area was added, as well as revisions to the layout of the dining room and sundeck. We would say that she is one of the best Red Sea live-aboards available at this time.
The 'Hyatt' has all the latest equipment
& comforts that the discerning Red Sea diver has come to expect. With a length of 36 metres and 4 decks, she is a large and stable
vessel able to cover all of the popular Red Sea diving areas. The Hyatt's twin
engines produce 1200 HP each, making her one of the most powerful
and fastest liveaboard boats in the Red Sea.

DIVING AREA & FACILITIES:
The Hyatt
has a large teak diving deck and has two dive tenders (small Zodiac type
boats) each fitted with a 55hp outboard motor. This allows divers to reach
sites quickly and with ease, and also facilitates the quick collection
of divers when they surface.
Divers have the option of air or NITROX fills
(from the onboard NITROX compressor) and cameras, strobes and computers can be charged using the boats 240/120/12
volt supply or the 'charging station' on the dive deck. The Hyatt
is fitted with all the latest safety and navigation equipment. She is equipped with
DAN medical kit and oxygen, two 25 person live-rafts as well as life jackets, fire & smoke alarms and 20 fire extinguishers. Communication equipment includes marine radar, VHF radio, GPS navigation and mobile telephone. |
