		The ALCAZAR Hotel & Club Murjan The Alcazar Hotel with its unique Arabic style architecture is located a short walk from both the town and the public beach. The Alcazar offers the special dual facilities of a town hotel, with easy access to shops and restaurants, and a separate private beach club & diving centre (Club Murjan) situated about 15 minutes bus ride away, on the reef edge. The rooms are all individually designed and decorated and have en-suite bathrooms, TV, refrigerator and telephone. All rooms are fitted with individual air-conditioning units which can be set and adjusted by remote control. The hotel features two restaurants offering European, local and Oriental cuisine, and poolside snacks and drinks during the day. The 'Dolphin Pub' in the lower courtyard is a good meeting place with pool and snooker tables and a 'happy hour' each evening.

	Club Murjan is the Alcazar's own beach club and is the location of the Alcazar Diving Centre; 'SeaStar Watersports'. This facility is about 15 minutes bus ride from the Alcazar Hotel. Divers will be based at Club Murjan during the day and this is the usual lunch-time 'gassing off' hangout for divers. From here you can also swim in the pool or sea, snorkel, windsurf or sail. Club Murjan has a licensed bar and restaurant, swimming pool and sun terrace. This is one of the best places in Aqaba to enjoy the sunset.
