The Sierra Hotel is an all-inclusive resort located just a short drive from Sharm El Sheikh International Airport, and about 20 minutes drive to the popular Na'ama Bay area. It offers spectacular views of the South Sinai mountain range and access to the private sandy beach of the famous White Knight Bay (The beach is located at the Savoy Hotel, just 2 minutes walk. Guests at the Sierra hotel can use the facilities of the Savoy Hotel).

Covering 116,000 sq m, the Sierra Sharm El Sheikh offers a wide range of facilities throughout its glamorous complex and boasts a total of 331 deluxe rooms, ranging from single, double, triple and family rooms to the superior option of a suite. At the heart of the complex, there is a spectacular 2000 sq m heated swimming pool. Location

Located in beautiful surroundings, the hotel is set in lavish green gardens and crystal clear water features, set against a spectacular backdrop of glorious coloured mountains in a desert landscape. Sharm El Sheikh itself is a world-renowned diving location, with fabulous underwater worlds waiting to be discovered. In fact the Savoy Hotel (next door - guests of the Sierra Hotel can use the facilities of the Savoy) is located directly on 'White Knight' dive site - a superb house reef right on your door step! Another popular leisure activity in the South Sinai is golf. The Sierra Hotel is located very near to a championship golf course.

The hotel enjoys the spectacular backdrop of the South Sinai Mountains. It is just a short walk from the crystal blue waters of the Red Sea, yet Na'ama Bay, with all its activity, is just 20 minutes away by car. Na'ama Bay is famed for its nightlife, restaurants, shopping and business conventions. The Sierra Sharm El Sheikh is ideally situated with easy access to major tourist attractions including St. Catherine's Monastery and Mount Sinai, Dahab, the Coloured Canyon and Pharaoh's Island.

Accommodation

Furnished with a modern look, all 330 of the Sierra Sharm El Sheikh hotel rooms are simplistic yet inviting in design. Most rooms have a view with a balcony or terrace. Catering for a wide range of guests from holiday makers and honeymooners to corporate business, the Sierra Sharm El Sheikh offers the choice of double, twin, triple or family rooms as well as the option to reserve one of the hotel suites. Interconnecting rooms are available on request as is a babysitting service.

The majority of rooms are 'Standard Rooms', with either twin beds or a single King size bed. All furniture is in light colour wood, the walls decorated with art work and lamps feature to create a relaxed atmosphere. Both twin and double rooms have a fully equipped bathroom, and a view of the garden, pool or South Sinai mountain range. You are sure to find your stay both comfortable and enjoyable.

The Sierra also has 6 deluxe suites which give you additional space and comfort throughout your stay. Each suite has one King size double bed, one single bed, a large bathroom and a relaxing lounge. Twice the size of the family Sierra Sharm El Sheikh room, the suite has two accesses and two balconies. Suite prices are quite a bit more expensive, and can be quoted on request.

Dining

With an array of bars and restaurants situated around the resort, the Sierra Sharm El Sheikh offers guests a great choice of food and drink. The restaurants offer the best of international cuisine, with something to suit all tastes, and the numerous bars can be visited for snacks, drinks, and the option to party until the early hours.

The 'Mountain View Restaurant' is the resort's main restaurant serving international buffet cuisine. A great venue for any meal day or night, this restaurant offers fantastic food in superb surroundings. Your taste buds will be teased and tantalised as you watch the chefs prepare your food from the restaurants' unique feature, the 'open kitchen'. The restaurant has both a pizza and pasta as well as hot wok station and also offers guests a carvery daily amongst a variety of other menu choices. With seating for 370 indoor and 100 outside, you will always have the option of alfresco dining, overlooking the pool area.

Please note the DINE AROUND OPTION: All guests of the Sierra have the option to wine and dine at the adjoining Savoy Hotel by paying a special reduced menu price. You can therefore enjoy the dining experience of the Savoy's Seafood Island, Rosmarino, Morgana, Tirana or EEST restaurants.

The Sierra Hotel has 4 different bars, including a 'seat in the pool' style pool bar. You have the choice of the Sierra Bar, Oasis Bar, Sunset Bar and the Bamboo Bar, so there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy a refreshing drink by the pool or a romantic 'sun downer' in the evening.

Spa

The Aqua Spa & Wellness Centre located within the Sierra Sharm El Sheikh is dedicated to offering clients the highest level of personalised service, luxurious treatments and divine pampering. The spa offers a variety of massage using international techniques, body exfoliation and glows, reflexology as well as a whole range of other divine head-to-toe body treatments. Scuba Diving

Diving is a priority for many of our guests. Guests of the Sierra Hotel can use the dive centre at the Savoy Hotel (2 mins walk) which has it's own dive centre on site; 'Sheikh Coast'. We can pre-book your diving with this centre, or can use one of the other centres that we work with in Sharm el Sheikh.

Sheikh Coast Divers is ideally located at 'White Knight' dive site - one of the better local sites in Sharm el Sheikh - so excellent house reef diving (and snorkeling) right on your door step!

One of the main features of this dive site is the canyon which starts in an inlet in the shore reef at a depth of around 8m. There is either the main entrance or a little swim through to the canyon. For those that are qualified there is a cave on the right hand side at 18m but lights and line are required as the bottom can get stirred up.

Coming out of the canyon and heading North is a eel garden, which is nice to watch for a while, as long as nobody has gone before and scared them into their holes because then you are just looking at a sand patch.

Coming out of the canyon and heading South is a gentle slope of reef with a upturned hull wreck of one of the dive boats that sank in 1994.
