Location
Located in serene surroundings, the hotel is set in lavish green gardens and crystal clear water features, set against a spectacular backdrop of glorious coloured mountains in a desert landscape. Sharm El Sheikh itself is a world-renowned diving location, with fabulous underwater worlds waiting to be discovered. In fact the Savoy is located directly on 'White Knight' dive site - a superb house reef right on your door step! Another popular leisure activity in South Sinai is golf. The Savoy is located very near to a championship golf course.
The hotel is 3km from Sharm El Sheikh International airport, and just 15 minutes taxi drive to Na'ama Bay (with it's nightlife, restaurants and shopping). From Sharm El Sheikh you have easy access to major attractions such as Mount Sinai, St. Catherine's Monastery, Dahab, the Coloured Canyon and Pharoah's Island.
Accommodation
Superbly furnished with the cool elegance of marble and wood, all 403 of the Savoy Sharm El Sheikh hotel rooms promote a simplistic yet inviting feel that encapsulates the Savoy's sumptuous signature look.
The standard room type is the Garden View room, but upgrades to Pool View and Sea View rooms are available. In additional there are family rooms as well as the option to reserve one of the deluxe suites. There are also specially equipped rooms for the disabled. In addition to the Savoy rooms and suites, the Savoy also offers 'Royal Savoy' rooms and suites and several exclusive villas. - The Pool & BeachFor some, relaxing by the pool or a lazy day at the beach makes for the perfect holiday. Here at the Savoy Sharm El Sheikh there are a total of five swimming pools.
The main feature is a huge three-level swimming pool with underwater music, surrounded by creative rock formations. This pool leads down to the Savoy's secluded beach.
Additionally, the 300m of beautiful sand that stretches the expanse of the Savoy's private beach offers a marvellous haven for diving and snorkelling fans.

Located only 5 km from the Savoy Sharm El Sheikh, a Bermuda grass 18-hole championship golf course stretches over 6021m, playing to a par of 72.

Scuba Diving
Diving is a priority for many of our guests. The Savoy has it's own dive centre on site; 'Sheikh Coast'. We can pre-book your diving with this centre, or can use one of the other centres that we work with in Sharm el Sheikh.
The Savoy Sharm el Sheikh is ideally located at 'White Knight' dive site - one of the better local sites in Sharm el Sheikh - so excellent house reef diving (and snorkeling) right on your door step!

White Knight. One of the main features of this dive site is the canyon which starts in an inlet in the shore reef at a depth of around 8m. There is either the main entrance or a little swim through to the canyon. For those that are qualified there is a cave on the right hand side at 18m but lights and line are required as the bottom can get stirred up.
Coming out of the canyon and heading North is a eel garden, which is nice to watch for a while, as long as nobody has gone before and scared them into their holes because then you are just looking at a sand patch.
Coming out of the canyon and heading South is a gentle slope of reef with a upturned hull wreck of one of the dive boats that sank in 1994.
