MARSA ALAM & BERENICE
Southern Egyptian Red Sea

- Marsa Alam is situated about 250 km south of Hurghada, and is a relatively new resort, with its own international airport and charter flights direct from the UK.
Many of its hotels are quite spaced out along the coast line, and they can feel quite remote; Great if you want to get away from it all and get some fantastic diving, but probably not the best location for those looking for a vibrant night life.
Almost all diving from Marsa is shore diving, but boat dives are also available, although usually at a supplement.
- We currently feature two hotels in Marsa Alam; the Marina Lodge at Port Ghalib (formerly Coral Beach Diving Hotel) and the Kahramana Hotel.

- Berenice is situated about 115 km further south of Marsa Alam. The transfer time from Marsa Alam airport is about an hour and a half. This is the most southerly Egyptian Red Sea resort.
- We currently feature one hotel in Berenice; the 4*+ Lahami Bay Beach Resort. This hotel has its own dive centre on-site.
