The Mövenpick Resort in El Gouna is located directly by the sea on an artificial island surrounded by lagoons, 15 miles north of the Red Sea port of Hurghada. The Mediterranean Kafr El Gouna Village is about 800 meters from the hotel and offers, among other attractions, a museum, various restaurants and bars, a disco and an entertainment arcade.

Introduction to El Gouna
El Gouna, 25 km North of Hurghada airport, is an amazing purpose built resort town that is made up of individual hotels and shops built in traditional styles and linked by a network of streets, lagoons and canals. With its own health care system, golf course, go-kart track, transport system and radio station, El Gouna has an unusual and fascinating atmosphere. A place designed for relaxing. Egypt but not Egypt! - although Hurghada is only a 30 minute drive South for those who want a touch of reality.

Accommodation: Spacious guest rooms in Mediterranean style. Equipped with large shower, direct dial phone, satellite TV, radio, minibar, hair dryer, safe deposit box. All rooms overlook either the sea or the lagoon.

El Sayadin Restaurant & Bar. Escape and let us spoil you in the breathtaking ambience of the Sayadin restaurant. Fresh fish, Mediterranean and Lebanese specialties.
Oasis Pool Restaurant & Bar. Open during the day it is the perfect place to enjoy the sunny side of life. Serving a large variety of light dishes, pizza, pasta and oriental delicacies. The swim-up pool bar serves fancy and refreshing cocktails.
Gallery Bar & Restaurant. Grown out of our existing Gallery bar, this newly opened restaurant offers breakfast, buffet dinners and a la carte meals in a cozy athmosphere.
Scenario Fun Pub & Internet Café. The ideal place for real entertainment. Videogames, pool billiard, internet nightly life entertainment while enjoying your favorite drink.
Lagoon Restaurant & Bar. Located around the beautifully designed fading-edge pool, overlooking the lagoons and the golf course. For snacks, light lunches and drinks.

Diving @ the Movenpick El Gouna with the Dive Tribe.

The 'Dive Tribe' is a PADI 5* IDC and Watersports Centre, based at the Movenpick Resort in El Gouna.

The Egyptian Red Sea is one of the most fascinating coastlines in the world, and offers some of the best Scuba Diving. We want it to stay that way. By keeping a keen eye on the effect of our work on the environment, we can keep doing what we do well into the future.

Diving with The Dive Tribe is conducted from our spacious and comfortable dive boats. Our standard programme is a full day trip with 2 dives per day. The dive boats leave between 8am and 9am in the morning, and return by 5pm each day. With a cooked lunch served on board, and plenty of time and space to relax, we reckon there is no better way to dive the Red Sea daily. From time to time, a family of bottlenose dolphins plays around the bow and wake of the diving boats. A boat trip with The Dive Tribe is also a perfect opportunity for snorkelling.
