| Choose Destination - Cocos & Malpelo Island - Undersea Hunter liveaboard |
|
The Undersea Hunter is a 28 metre (90 foot) live-aboard which can accommodate 14 divers in comfort and convenience. She has been built for long-range dive expeditions to destinations like Cocos Island and Malpelo. An ideal vessel for the adventurous diver looking for an exciting and remote live-aboard holiday.
The boat was originally built in Florida in 1968 as an oceanographic research vessel, and was used for twenty years as a submarine support vessel. She worked primarily in the Caribbean and completed hundreds of research and photographic missions including the 'Deep Rover' project. Undersea Hunter's closest brush with fame - so far - was her participation as support vessel for the James Bond movie "License to Kill".
The Undersea Hunter was converted to a diving live-aboard during late 1990. Already a capable and well-proven research vessel, the Undersea Hunter was modified to provide the comfort and conveniences that diving clients have come to expect from live-aboard boats. She has seven guest cabins, which accommodate 14 clients. With a fuel capacity of 40 tons and water capacity of 26 tons, her blue water capability is almost unlimited. Under the guiding hands of Avi Klapfer and Yosy Naaman, the Undersea Hunter is dedicated to bringing civilized comfort to the delightfully uncivilized gems like Cocos Island and Malpelo. |
