The BRAC REEF BEACH RESORT is a personal favourite with Aquatours. Cayman Brac is a laid-back taste of Caribbean island life as it used to be - charming people, gingerbread villages, lush vegetation and plenty to do from rock climbing to parrot-spotting, cycling to hammock-laying! We spent many an evening fascinated by eagle rays scavenging in the shallows off Brac Reef’s dock, star-gazing in clear dark skies with a ‘wicked rum swizzler’ to keep us cool.

Brac Reef Resort offers simple but very comfortable accommodation of a high standard. Each room has air-conditioning and private bathroom - some have balconies or terraces.  Food is all served buffet style - you definitely need a meal package here - and it is delicious and plentiful. The overall atmosphere of Brac Reef is one of calm, relaxed enjoyment - popular with our clients year after year.

Reef Divers: We were impressed with the standard of their boats, equipment and the Divemasters who could not do enough to ensure divers had a great time. They believe their divers should be enjoying themselves, not carrying equipment!  Boats operate very smoothly and efficiently - if only all boats were like this. As for diving, the Brac takes a lot of beating, with magnificent walls, coral gardens, chutes and swim-throughs and a stunning wreck dive - the Russian Frigate, Capt Keith Tibbetts (sunk in September 1996 in 25m depth). This wreck is home to a multitude of life and makes a fascinating dive. And in a typical week you will almost certainly have the opportunity to dive Little Cayman’s famous Bloody Bay Wall (45 mins away by boat) - worth every minute.
