Curacao was voted top three in the Caribbean for shore diving. At Habitat you can dive 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our pristine house reef is alive with abundant tropical fish, healthy corals and hundreds of species of marine life. Access to the reef is just a few steps from your room. The tanks are there just waiting for you to grab one - go dive whenever you want. You must always follow safe diving practices obviously.

Habitat Curacao is the perfect place to get away from it all and feel refreshed and renewed. Try a soothing massage or just laze by the pool.

The atmosphere at Habitat is warm, relaxed and casual. A complimentary shuttle bus takes you into the historic capital city Willemstad just 25 minutes away.  The bus departs three times per day.  If you are planning an active vacation and would like to explore Curaçao's many activities we do suggest that you rent a car so that you experience all that exciting Curacao has to offer.

There are three different room types at Habitat Curacao. All the Rooms and Two-bedroom Lanai Villas have generous, private outdoor space to allow you to blend in and feel in harmony with nature. Every room is air-conditioned but you can always throw open the doors instead to the cooling trade winds and the sound of the surf gently rolling into shore in the evening.

We recommend Lanai Villas for families and dive groups, and the Garden View or Ocean View Rooms for single travelers and couples. Maid service is provided daily.

Garden View Rooms:
A favourite with Habitat regulars, the Garden View Rooms have sweeping views of tropical landscaping, and some have pool or partial ocean views. Each room has an outdoor patio or balcony where you can enjoy watching the hummingbirds and monarch butterflies fluttering through the Hibiscus blossoms.
Garden View rooms all have air-conditioning with two queen-size beds, private bath, telephone, cable television, in-room safe, kitchenette and an outdoor patio or balcony. These comfortable and attractively decorated rooms are also the closest to the pool and restaurant area.

Lanai Villas - (Two bedrooms).
Habitat 's Lanai Villas are perfect for families and groups. A Lanai Villa has two air-conditioned bedrooms, each with its own private bath, telephone, cable television and a shared outdoor patio with a living area and kitchenette. One bedroom has a queen-size bed and the other has two twin-size beds. There are no connecting doors between each bedroom, but the shared outdoor patio is covered and allows you to walk from one bedroom to the other.
The Lanai Villas are perfectly situated and are just a short stroll to the beach, pool, restaurant, meeting rooms and dive dock, and surround Habitat’s seawater water lagoon and lush landscaping, where guests often spot wild parrots perched in the nearby Frangipani and Flamboyant trees.

Certified divers can stroll out from their rooms and pick up a filled tank at the dive dock any time day or night. From there, it's only a giant stride and a few flutter kicks out to one of the best reefs in the Caribbean.

Visibility frequently tops 100ft and the water temperature averages 82F. Whether you are a novice or already an expert diver you will be delighted by the ease and variety of diving at Habitat Curaçao.

Boat Diving with Habitat Curacao:
Enjoy all the best diving Curaçao has to offer, with twice daily boat dives from Habitat.  At Habitat you can enjoy double tank boat dives to over 35 exceptional coral reefs around the coast of Curacao.  Most dive sites are less then an hour away so you can maximise bottom time.

Habitat Curaçao Resort's signature boat dive is the Mushroom Forest, voted "One of the World's Best Dives" by the editors of Sport Diver Magazine. Habitat is located on the pristine, sheltered South West coast of Curaçao where diving conditions are excellent.  Giant star corals, sponges and hundreds more species of marine life abound on the healthy, living reefs.

Ocean's Restaurant and Bar.
Every table has an incredible view at Ocean's Restaurant. The inviting casual restaurant perched on a cliff high above the astounding seascape is open-air and always relaxing. A varied international menu serves hearty portions of well known favourites and local specials.

Mornings begin with a full all you can eat breakfast buffet. Light snacks are served throughout the day. Lunch could be a delicious tropical salad featuring fresh mango, pasta or tasty catch of the day. Dinner features a daily special and a full steak, pasta and seafood menu.
